1.3. Necessity of SF6 density relay verification

SF6 switches are high-voltage electrical appliances widely used in power systems. The reliable operation of SF6 switch has become one of the most concerned issues in the power supply sector. The SF6 gas density relay is an important component used to monitor the change of SF6 gas density in the SF6 switch body during operation, and its performance directly affects the operation safety of the SF6 switch. Due to the infrequent action of SF6 gas density relays operating on site, after a period of time, there are often inflexible movements and poor contact contact. Some of the density relays also have poor temperature compensation performance. When the ambient temperature changes, the density of SF6 is often caused. The relay malfunctioned. Therefore, DL/T596-1996 "Protection Test Regulations for Electric Power Equipment" stipulates that each SF6 switch user should regularly check the SF6 gas density relay. Judging from the actual operation situation, it is also very necessary to regularly check the SF6 density relay and pressure gauge in the field operation.

1.4. The basic principle of SF6 density relay verification

The gas pressure in the airtight container changes with the change of temperature. In order to facilitate statistics and comparison, the relative pressure value of SF6 at 20°C is usually used as the standard value. During on-site verification, the SF6 pressure value measured at a certain ambient temperature should be converted to its equivalent pressure value at 20 °C, so as to judge the performance of the density relay.

Latching recovery value verification: At ambient temperature, when the SF6 density relay is at zero pressure, slowly inflate the SF6 density relay at a certain speed, and when the latching contact of the SF6 density relay operates, record the pressure value at the current ambient temperature , and converted to the equivalent pressure value at 20°C, the equivalent pressure value at 20°C is the latching recovery value of the SF6 density relay.

Alarm response value verification: Continue to slowly inflate the SF6 density relay at a certain speed. When the alarm contact of the SF6 density relay operates, record the pressure value at the current ambient temperature and convert it into the equivalent pressure value at 20°C. The equivalent pressure value at 20°C is the alarm response value of the SF6 density relay.

Overpressure recovery value verification: slowly deflate the SF6 density relay at a certain speed. When the contact of the SF6 density relay moves, start to deflate the SF6 density relay slowly and uniformly. When the relay overvoltage alarm signal is issued, record The pressure value at the ambient temperature at that time is converted into the equivalent pressure value at 20°C. This equivalent pressure value is the overpressure recovery value of the SF6 density relay.

Alarm value verification: At ambient temperature, when the pressure in the SF6 density relay is greater than the alarm response value, the air is slowly released at a certain speed. When the alarm contact of the SF6 density relay is activated, the pressure value at the current ambient temperature is recorded. Blocking value verification: Continue to slowly deflate the SF6 density relay at a certain speed. When the blocking contact of the SF6 density relay operates, record the pressure value at the current ambient temperature and convert it to the equivalent pressure value at 20°C. The equivalent pressure value at 20°C is the blocking value of the SF6 density relay.

Overpressure value verification: Continue to slowly inflate the SF6 density relay at a certain speed. When the overpressure contact of the SF6 density relay operates, record the pressure value at the ambient temperature at that time and convert it to the equivalent pressure value at 20°C , this equivalent pressure value is the overpressure value of the SF6 density relay.

 

1.5. Features of WINFOSS-A26 Density Relay Calibration Instrument

5. The calibration interface menu has options such as relay calibration, data browsing, resistance measurement, system setting, pressure zeroing, normal temperature pressure indication, 20 degree pressure indication, temperature indication, etc. It has three options for double locking and overpressure alarm. The internal collection is collected by PT100 and the temperature is sent to the CPU, and the conversion to P20 pressure value is automatically completed.
