WINFOSS-C2 series SF6 quantitative leak detectors are based on the technical principle of dual wavelength non-dispersive infrared spectrometer (NDIR) and follow the highest standards in terms of accuracy, reliability and efficiency. Due to the use of optics, the modules are not subject to degradation or chemical reactions. Almost no maintenance is required. Based on the spectral gas detection method based on the absorption theory of gas infrared sensors, when the infrared radiation emitted by the infrared light source is absorbed by the gas to be measured at a certain concentration, the specific wavelength (SF6 corresponds to 10.6um, when the light intensity corresponds to the gas concentration will occur. The variation law can be described by the Beer-Lambert absorption law. Therefore, the unique absorption spectrum of the gas is detected by the change of light intensity, so as to make an accurate quantitative analysis to calculate its concentration value.
