Overview

SF6 density relay (WINFOSS-D6) is mainly used to monitor the density of SF6 gas in sealed containers. It is mostly used in high-voltage electrical equipment with SF6 gas as the insulating medium, and is suitable for outdoor harsh working environments. The density relay has two or three sets of contacts (defined according to different needs), which can send out overvoltage, alarm and lock control signals, and have indication display. The density relay is filled with silicone oil to improve the anti-vibration and anti-shock ability.

In addition, the remote transmission SF6 density relay (WINFOSS-GDC-R) can also be customized, which integrates a precision pressure sensor and a digital temperature sensor, and uses a high-performance microprocessor to collect the pressure and temperature signals. The standard pressure value below is transmitted to the upper computer through the data bus. In addition, it can also be connected to the monitoring system of the control room through the standard signal of 4-20mA, which is especially suitable for the centralized monitoring of multiple SF6 gas chambers. And store the data, you can also draw and print the daily, monthly, annual density curve.

Principle introduction

Among them, the remote SF6 density relay consists of two parts, one part is the pointer indication and control part of the traditional density relay, and the other part is the intelligent monitoring and communication part added to meet the needs of online monitoring.

A. Indication and control principle:
The SF6 gas density value indicated by the pointer on the dial of the SF6 gas density relay is expressed by the pressure of the SF6 gas after temperature compensation, that is, the standard pressure value at 20°C. The SF6 density relay works under the rated pressure. When the ambient temperature changes, the pressure of the SF6 gas also changes. The temperature compensation unit inside the density relay corrects the changed pressure so that the pressure indication remains unchanged. When the SF6 gas leaks, the pressure will drop. When it drops to the alarm set value, the density relay will output an alarm signal to the point. At this time, the user is required to supply gas to the equipment. If the pressure continues to drop to the lock set value, the density A pair of relays outputs a blocking signal to the points, so that the control system of the equipment is blocked, so as to realize the safe operation protection of the electrical equipment.

B. Principles of intelligent monitoring and communication
The intelligent module in the density relay mainly monitors the pressure sensor signal, obtains the digital signal through filtering and op amp, and then goes through high-precision A/D conversion, and then converts the density by the high-performance processor combined with the temperature signal, and can use D/A conversion The analog signal is output, and then converted into a 4-20mA current signal output, and the other one uses the RS485 bus output.

Although these solutions can meet the needs of providing security protection for equipment, they have not been able to meet the emergency or more complex security needs of some non-professionals.
